Day 19

Tomorrow is Carter's Valentines Day party at school, and I was asked to make treats. So I looked though the web for something different to make as I can't just make any run of the mill cookies, and this is what I found, stained glass cookies, super easy and they look pretty cool. Of course my little baker had to help.

Carter helping to make the cookie dough.

Then I had him peel the candies from their wrappers, surprisingly he only ate one.
Ready for the oven
All cooked, I know I know ohhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhh
Single one to show the finished stained glass look

Look out Martha I am coming for you, here is the plate ready to be taken for school tomorrow. I made mini cookie hearts as well with the left over dough as I ran out of candies that were the right colour.
