Today was interesting, I got to pick up Carter without Syd, and it excited me because I have never done that before, Chris had the day off I did not leave her home alone so you can put down your phones to report me lol. So picked up Carter walked home, went to the store made dinner, bath and then bed. Syd is still sick so she did something unusual today, she had a nap, so I got a sleeping picture.
Yesterday she sat up for the first time and that made my heart melt, I am not a big fan of the milestones I actually cry when they come but the sitting up one I have been waiting for, and since her head isn't giant like her brothers she did it earlier then him. So Yippy for my baby sitting. It only lasts for 30 seconds but still it counts in our eyes. So here she is sitting on her own, she wouldn't look at the camera because Chris was right there to catch her just in case. I got one shot in and then she wouldn't co operate with sitting, she was too hungry.
So since Chris is home I actually made a full meal lol, not that I don't cook when he is working but I tend to cater to Carter's needs, so we decided to have Natcho's and have a party in the living room because Chris was home, and it totally worked to get Carter to eat them, so here is our dinner.
And here is Syd's. She had peas with oatmeal for the first time and took them like a trooper.
And then I let her play because it was bath night. I love her chubby little hands, and hey she isn't really playing with her food she is discovering textures right?
